Michelle Ernest, FNP-BC
Michelle Ernest is a Family Nurse Practitioner who is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. In the years since graduating nursing school, Michelle has worked in various areas of healthcare to include: home care, infusion therapy, medical/surgical nursing, operating room, and as a clinical nursing instructor before pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse practitioner and receiving her Masters Degree in Nursing. She graduated from Troy University in May 2013 as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Michelle is originally from Buffalo, New York. She met her husband, Jason, in nursing school at the University of Buffalo. They graduated in 1996 and he was commissioned in the US Army as a Second Lieutenant to Fort Benning, GA. His military service ended in 2008 and he now works at Northside Hospital as Chief Nurse Anesthetist.
Michelle and Jason have 3 boys who are very active in baseball.
Michelle is the Nurse Practitioner for Dr. W. Allen Whitten. She thoroughly enjoys primary care and providing comprehensive care to her patients. Michelle is currently accepting new patients, often on a same day basis.
