Background

Born in India and raised in Arkansas, Dr. Shah, received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Arkansas State University and medical degree from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. Additionally, he has acquired a Masters in Molecular Biotechnology with an emphasis on entrepreneurship from George Washington University in Washington D.C., and a professional certificate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management in Machine Learning in Business. Dr. Shah was also a summer Business Scholar at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and gained valuable experience as an Intern in the United States Senate on various healthcare policy topics. He has worked at St. Francis -Emory Healthcare as a hospital medicine physician since 2017.

Dr. Shah completed his Internal Medicine Residency from St. James Hospital in the Chicago area in 2017 and he is board-certified in Internal Medicine from the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Furthermore, he is passionate about using entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology to improve healthcare.
